Notarial Duties

Our role as a notary public is to:

Document Responsibility

Clients are responsible for:

  • Ensuring documents are complete and accurate

  • Understanding the contents of the documents prior to signing

  • Providing all required information before the appointment

BPN Notary Services is not responsible for errors, omissions, or outcomes related to the use of notarized documents.

Identification Requirements

All signers must present valid, government-issued photo identification at the time of notarization.

Failure to provide proper identification will result in refusal of service.

Refusal of Service

BPN Notary Services reserves the right to refuse service in accordance with Tennessee law, including but not limited to situations where:

  • Proper identification is not provided

  • The signer appears unwilling or coerced

  • The signer does not appear mentally competent

  • The document is incomplete or appears fraudulent
